After years in communications, I put my career on hold to stay home with my children. As my time with them neared its closing, I decided to expand my communications knowledge by learning how to code. Through SheCodes, I learned the basics of front end work in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the React library. From there, I began self-studying to gain a greater depth of knowledge, expanding my skills and delving further into all that JavaScript and React offer. The more I have learned, the more I have become passionate about creating responsive, user-intuitive, accessibility-minded websites and applications.
